Unstoppable Confidence Day 2 - Confidence Killer! Do You Watch What You Say?
Do you ever think about what you say?
For most of us, when we speak, it's often without consciousness.
Rarely do we stop to take a closer look at EXACTLY what we're saying. Our thoughts, beliefs, judgments, and opinions just roll off our tongues.
We give no thought to the damage (or benefit, for that matter) that our thoughts can produce.
But, confident, successful people are masters of their words.
They recognize that, by failing to control the words they speak, their words can take dominion over them.
Are following me so far?
In order to develop the self-confidence you deserve, you have to become conscious of the thoughts you think and the words you speak about yourself and others.
You have to speak words that will build your self-esteem and self-confidence, build relationships, and build dreams.
To speak this way is to speak from your highest self.
This also means that you're speaking with intention and integrity.
Your words fall into line with what you want to produce.
I'm telling you, your words have power not only with yourself, but also with others.
To give your self-confidence the boost it needs, you need to restructure the way you talk to yourself.
Mastering any social situation with confidence relies on the impeccability of your words.
How you speak and the words that are spoken about you determine the quality of your relationships.
This makes you think, doesn't it?
No doubt about it, the words you speak hold the power to affirm your worth and build your self-confidence.
Your words put out a certain energy and message that creates a reaction in others.
If you're constantly beating yourself up and putting yourself down - the same will be returned to you.
Everything you say produces an effect in your world. Which means what you say can either destroy or build up your self-confidence.
Start asking yourself the following questions and watch how your life begins to take form...
1. Is what I'm saying uplifting? 2. Is it advancing me toward my goals? 3. Is it inspiring, motivating, and creating forward momentum? 4. Is it eradicating fear and promoting safety and trust? 5. Is it building my self-esteem and self-confidence? 6. Is it fostering your willingness to take action?
Your journey to creating self-confidence rests squarely on the shoulders of the words you speak on day-to-day basis.
Take notice... because in the next lesson I'll teach you how to really kick things up a notch.
